Celebrating Nutrition Week
Under Nutrition Awareness week IDYWC celebrate the week and carried out several activities in the 23 most affected villages of Tamiya block of Chhindwara district. Stree play, folk song and awareness rally by involving school children and women were major part of activities.
Home visits made to identify SAM and MAM children and referred to NRC.
God Bharai ceremony of pregenent women was performed at the village by offering a full plate of nutritious meal.
Britania Tiger biscuits enriched with Iron were distributed to the identified malnourished children and anemic girls and women.
