Women's Day Celebration
International women's day was celebrated at Khumkal village of Jamai block. Around 1500 women members of SHG, Water user groups, Panchayats and VDC participated. Women were honoured for their extraordinary performance at village level institutions and being a role model for others. Mr. Sadiq Agwan Secretary IDYWC delhivered his motivational speech. Legal provisions for women and major laws were highlighted by Ms. Shireen to empower the rural and tribal women.
